Artwork Guidelines

Our products are made great by great design. To ensure we can print to our full potential, the following guidelines have been created to aid this:

File Types

While we love PDF print ready artwork, we can work with any file types you have. Not everyone's a designer so, send us what you have and we'll turn it into something print worthy.

Margins & Bleed

As a rule of thumb, all our artwork is set up with 3mm bleed to each edge. Bleed is the area of print that goes beyond the crop marks. This ensures all the pads are cut to the correct size ordered, while maintaining the aesthetics of your design. Leaving a 5mm margin to each edge is also advised as this ensures once the pads are cropped, no vital text or images get cropped off.

While the above is standard, some of our products require a more complex setup - if you have any queries, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

WE ALWAYS TRIPLE CHECK EACH PIECE OF ARTWORK SENT TO US, PRIOR TO PRINT.

Fonts

Fonts are a tricky business and while we have hundreds of different types of font, there's always one that slips through the net. To ensure no fonts get replaced during the print setup procedure, it's always advised that fonts should be created to outlines to remove the chance of loss of compatibility.
Our studio will never replace fonts without our Client's approval.
